 St. Patrick's Day fun actually starts on Saturday, March 7, with arts and crafts in Veterans Park. If you want to get involved, call Kathleen Reynolds at 239-394-2442.   For all the Irish and those that wish they were--or at least drink "Green Beer".
 
The Sons and Daughters of Erin of Marco Island  will have Marco's first-ever St. Patrick's Day parade on Sunday, March 8.  The GRAND MARSHALL  will be Bishop  Frank  Dewane.   The parade will begin at 1 p.m. on March 8 at city hall and march up Bald Eagle Drive to the new Veterans Community Park, where the party will feature Irish music, dancers and food.
After the parade there will be entertainment at the Residence Beach, starting at 5pm.
 
The Jewish Congregation of Marco Island on Sunday, March 8th at 7PM: JCMI Sisterhood of Marco Island and Morgan Stanley Present an evening of Comedy & Music. Seating at 7PM, show starts at 7:30PM. Returning by popular demand Vic Arnell and Holly Lipton.Vic Arnell humor is clean and on the mark producing old fashion belly laughs. He has shared the stage with Tom Jones, Liza Minelli, Barry Manolow, and Engel Humperdink to name a few. Holly Lipton starred in the Broadway Musical "Jesus Christ Super Star" and has worked on stage with Don Rickels, Jerry Seinfeld, Howie Mandell to name a few. her voice is intoxicating and her performance magical.
